Doa Doa Safari Camp was created to offer a safari that feels authentic and comfortable at the same time.

Our story

Born from decades of Kenyan safari know-how.

Doa Doa grew out of the experience of Southern Sky Safaris Ltd, a Kenyan-owned destination management company. The idea was simple: a camp where the way you experience the land, the wildlife and the culture matters as much as where you sleep.

Mornings start with the distant sounds of wildlife. Evenings unfold under big African skies. The focus is on intimacy, calm and connection.

The Galana River shapes the camp’s setting. Wildlife movements vary with the season and conditions.

One of the park’s best-known wildlife areas, especially busy in the dry season.

Cucina semplice, con prodotti freschi e gustosi.
Gli alloggi del campo tendato sono confortevoli, puliti, spaziosi e moderni con vista sul fiume che attraversa la savana.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Posto spettacolare, sulla riva di un fiume in cui abbiamo visto i coccodrilli. Camere moderne e spaziose, unica cosa nella nostra camera non arrivava l’acqua calda. Era così caldo comunque che anche la doccia temperatura ambiente non è stata impossibile. Pulizia anche nelle zone comuni, servizio al tavolo ma senza poter scegliere. Cucina italiana buona, apprezzata anche da mio figlio. Lo consiglio vivamente! Senza aria condizionata (ma non l’abbiamo mai avuta nemmeno negli altri Lodge), forniscono un ventilatore molto utile per rinfrescare l’ambiente caldo e umido. Impossibile tenere le zanzariere sul letto di notte per il caldo, comunque non c’erano zanzare ne insetti in camera.

The Best rooms are tents, I was lucky to be in Tent 14, amazing view next to a river full of Nile Crocs and Hippos. The downside is temperatures tend to reach up to 36°C and you only have one standing fan in your tent, with my experience of spending a night there, they'll need to add more fans in the tents. No privacy inside the tents toilet and bathroom as they have no doors so unless you are a "couple" sharing it with a friend can be a little bit tricky if you understand what I mean. Generally it's a place to be with good swimming pool, evening bon fire... Simply awesome
